DOCTOR CLAUDIUS-Therapeutic Amaro With Sea Water

Color: Amber with golden reflections.

Tasting Notes: Rich in polyphenols extracted from sea water, the nose reveals the freshness of marine breeze and jasmine. On the palate, it offers a complex balance of herbaceous bitterness and the sweetness of citrus fruits, with a hint of gentian. The finish is slightly sweet, with hints of licorice and aromatic herbs, balanced by the refreshing balsamic touch of mint. It presents a low sugar residue.

Pairing: Perfect with dry pastries, ideal for meditation or for
crafting premium cocktails

Made with typical Calabrian and South Italy herbs and citrus fruits.

Sweet oranges are typical of southern Italy and are very famous globally. We get the sugary part of the amaro taste from there and from liquorice, another typical Calabrian ingredient.

Spirito Alchemico is a brand from San Nicola Arcella, a seaside village on the Riviera dei Cedri, which is why cedar also stands out among our ingredients, as well as coastal rosemary, gentian, mint and of course SeaWater!

All the 3 of our Spirits are inspired by the characters of Francis M. Crawford’s romances. He lived here, in San Nicola Arcella (in an ancient tower, now called Crawford Tower) where he wrote about the locals in his romances. We dedicated to him our products, and the story of his characters.
