MUNDIS

HARVEST: BY HAND

HARVEST PERIOD: SEPTEMBER- OCTOBER

VINIFICATION AND AGING: Grapes from various parts of the vineyard are wholecluster pressed and vinified in steel tanks. After fermentation, the wines remain on fine lees until the early months of the following year, when the wine is bottled.

TASTING NOTES: Mundis has a straw yellow color. The selected batches for this product are those most ready to drink; therefore, the aromatic profile already shows more evolved notes and a riper, yellow fruit that preserves the freshness and acidity typical of the grape variety.

DISTINCTIVE FEATURES: This wine is made by selecting the most drinkable batches of each vintage, offering greater ease of drinking compared to its “older brother.” The project was born from the desire to create a wine with a pronounced aromatic note combined with the varietal’s typical characteristics. Mundis is a transitional wine that guides the palate from classic white wine to Verdicchio.

PRODUCTION METHOD AND FOOD PAIRINGS

Mundis is a young Verdicchio, produced using those wine batches that, after fermentation, are
immediately approachable and already show a good level of development.
This wine expresses very intense aromas, favoring green and exotic notes that are typical of young
Verdicchio.
It is an excellent white wine for aperitif moments: thanks to its moderate alcohol content and
expressive aromatics, it is pleasant to drink even on its own. When paired with food, suitable
matches include:

  •  Fresh fish and shellfish
  •  Delicate cured meats and fresh cheeses
  •  Pasta dishes with white sauces, avoiding overly strong flavors
